Terms of Service

By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry, booking a session, or enrolling in any program offered by Catalyst Accelerated Learning ("Catalyst", "we", "us", or "our"), you ("the Client", "parent", or "guardian") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services. These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Catalyst Accelerated Learning, a tutoring service operating in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Catalyst Accelerated Learning provides academic tutoring services in Mathematics, English, and Science for students in Grades 1–12. Services are delivered through: • One-on-one tutoring sessions • Small group learning sessions • Personalized learning plans (Grades 1–8) • School work support • Math and English fundamentals programs All sessions are conducted by qualified tutors in a structured, focused, and supportive environment. Session format, duration, and scheduling are confirmed at the time of enrolment.

Enrolment in a Catalyst program begins with a free initial consultation. Following the consultation, a parent or guardian must confirm their child's enrolment to begin scheduled sessions. By enrolling, you confirm that: • You are the parent or legal guardian of the enrolled student, or have the authority to consent on their behalf. • The information provided during enrolment is accurate and complete. • You agree to receive communications related to scheduling, payments, and program updates. Catalyst reserves the right to decline or discontinue services at its sole discretion, including in cases where the learning environment is disrupted or where payment obligations are not met.

Attendance: Parents and students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions punctually. Consistent absences may affect the student's progress and program continuity. Cancellations by the Client: We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be forfeited without a make-up session. Cancellations by Catalyst: In the event that Catalyst must cancel a session due to tutor unavailability, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, affected clients will be notified as soon as reasonably possible and the session will be rescheduled at no additional cost. Repeated Cancellations: Catalyst reserves the right to review enrolment status if a student has an excessive number of cancellations or no-shows.

Session fees are communicated to parents at the time of consultation and confirmed prior to enrolment. Payment terms are as follows: • Fees are due as agreed upon at the time of enrolment (per session, weekly, or as part of a package). • Payment must be made on time to maintain uninterrupted access to sessions. • Catalyst reserves the right to suspend sessions for accounts with outstanding balances. • All fees are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD). • Fees are subject to change with reasonable notice provided to existing clients. Catalyst does not offer refunds for sessions already attended. Unused sessions within a purchased package may be credited at Catalyst's discretion.

We are committed to providing a respectful and productive learning environment for all students. Students are expected to: • Arrive prepared for sessions with any required materials. • Treat tutors and other students with respect. • Refrain from disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behaviour. Catalyst reserves the right to remove a student from a session, or to terminate enrolment, if conduct is deemed disruptive or inappropriate. In such cases, any remaining session fees for the current period may not be refunded.

All learning materials, notes, worksheets, lesson plans, and content produced or provided by Catalyst Accelerated Learning are the exclusive intellectual property of Catalyst. These materials are provided solely for the personal educational use of the enrolled student and may not be: • Reproduced, distributed, or shared publicly without written permission. • Resold or used commercially in any form. • Modified or attributed to another party. Unauthorized use of Catalyst's materials may result in termination of services.

Catalyst Accelerated Learning provides tutoring services on a best-efforts basis. While we are committed to supporting each student's academic growth, we do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, grades, or exam results. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Catalyst shall not be liable for: • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of our services. • Academic outcomes or results achieved or not achieved by any student. • Loss or damage resulting from reliance on information provided during sessions. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 30 days prior to the claim.

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Please review it at catalystlearning.ca/privacy.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Saskatchewan.

Catalyst Accelerated Learning reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
